In addition to offering our Basic Curriculum, the goal of Hila Initiative is to also provide two “Path Forward” tracks to our students: an academic path forward and a professional path forward. From the Path Forward options, students will be able to choose a path depending on their personal goals. If a student wishes to pursue an academic degree, we will provide university counselling, application assistance and connections to academic institutions that offer online programs. If the student wishes to find work in the near future, we will provide career counselling, skills-development courses and remote internship or employment opportunities.
Our Path Forward classes are still being developed. For Fall 2024, we propose three professional Path Forward classes. They will focus on: preparing for online work, work places, English exam readiness, creative writing, researching both internship and online education opportunities.
